Description
A group of passionate people were disappointed with seeing our town and river polluted and littered with trash. Their passion motivated them to take action and organize CLEAN SWEEP WALLKILL. We are so fortunate to live in an area with the Wallkill River that provides recreational activities such as fishing, kayaking, boating, bird watching and simply enjoying the view. Clean Sweep Wallkill wants to preserve the beauty of Wallkill by helping to rid the town and the river of trash and debris.
If you feel the same, join Clean Sweep Wallkill and take action. Gather your neighbors and friends and organize a team to clean the roads in your neighborhood.
Meet at the Wallkill Public Library lawn at 9 am on Saturday, April 15 (rain date Sunday, April 16), and pick up orange bags to collect the trash. Help is also needed to clean the banks of the Wallkill River.
STUDENTS: this is a great opportunity for community service!
