Sass & Brass

The 2026 Rhythm on the River Summer Concert Series in the Hamlet of Wallkill is on the way. Come jam with your favorite local bands at Lion’s Pavilion at Popp Park on Thursdays, 7 pm, beginning July 9.  Sass & Brass is performing on August 6. 

Bring your family and friends, blankets and chairs.  Make it a picnic under the pavilion or night out under the stars as you watch these bands perform. All concerts are free. 

For four years running, Sass & Brass has set the tone as the next wave, horn-energized ensemble in New York’s Hudson Valley Region. Professional and polished, Sass & Brass delivers entertainment that will thrill your audience. Whether it’s a blend of jazz, R&B, Motown, disco, classic rock, pop country, or today’s contemporary favorites, Sass & Brass has the versatility to deliver some of the best sounds of the last fifty years.

Sass & Brass is eight members strong – all with truly diverse musical roots and experience. Some members have played with renowned acts on stages from Broadway & PBS TV to famed resort hotels and LA’s Hollywood Bowl.
