Sparkle & Shine 2025

The Hamlet of Wallkill continues to celebrate the holidays! Everyone is encouraged to decorate their homes and businesses, front yards and sidewalks for this year’s Sparkle & Shine Contest. Make the town bright and beautiful by decorating it with lights, inflatables, and any type of flair. 

The contest is open to all residents and businesses in the Town of Shawangunk within the Wallkill area. The residential categories are Traditional, Creative, Motion, Most Dramatic Use of Color, and Most Impressive. We will also select the businesses with the best decorations and holiday spirit. So be sure your decorations are up by December 7, and your lights are on for judging by December 15. 

Post a picture on VOW's Facebook page of your decorations and add your address so that the judges will be sure to stop by and take a look. Winners will be announced by December 16.
