Celebrate the Season at Vision of Wallkill’s 4th Annual Holidays in the Hamlet! Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 6th, 3 – 6:30 pm on the Wallkill Public Library Lawn.Kick off your holiday celebrations with an afternoon full of festive fun for the whole family.
Pre-event activities are from 2:15 -3:15 pm and include story time, crafts for children, and Happy Cheeks Face Painting — sponsored in part by the Wallkill Public Library.
The Main Event begins at 3 pm. Nosh, sip and be merry while shopping from our locally curated artisan vendors. Enjoy performances by students from the local school choral groups on the steps of the Shawangunk Town Hall. Santa arrives around 4:45 pm to help light the tree. Afterward, children will have the chance to meet Santa in person. They’re encouraged to write a letter to him in advance — and include their mailing address so Santa can write back! Children can give their letters to Santa when they meet him.
The evening ends with a beautiful fireworks finale near Garrison Park.
Don’t forget: Dress warmly, bring some cash for food and shopping, and enjoy a festive afternoon in the Hamlet as we celebrate the season together.
